Szilvia Papp
Senior Research Manager
Szilvia Papp holds a PhD in Second Language Acquisition from Edinburgh. She rejoined the 91¸£Àû Research Group in September 2025. Her current research focuses on validating digital and AI-based assessment tools, including spoken dialogue systems and conversational AI, and exploring their role in enhancing teaching and learning. Her research interests include all aspects of the assessment of children and adolescents (aged 6–16) as well as younger learners (aged 3–6), such as the development of literacy, language, maths, self-regulation, and social-emotional skills.
