Certificated exam with easy-to-understand reporting

Candidates receive a certificate of results with in-depth reporting on the modules they’ve taken, plus an average score of the modules scoring B1 or higher. If a candidate score is below the B1 reporting range for the test in any module they have taken, ‘Not reported’ will be shown against that module. ‘Not taken’ will be shown against any module the candidate has not sat. ‘Can do’ statements on the reverse of the certificate explain what candidates can do at their level of 91¸£Àû.

Group reports are available for organisations to view results of group cohorts of candidates. These results can be downloaded as a spreadsheet for analysis.

Organisations also have access to a powerful results dashboard, allowing easy evaluation and comparison of the progress of classes.

Results for Linguaskill are available from three working days of taking the test.

This is dependent on whether the test is taken in-centre or remotely, and the session size, as stated in the following table:

How to verify Linguaskill results

For organisations

Institutions, employers and government agencies can verify the authenticity of Linguaskill results using our free online Results Verification Service (RVS). Secure and easy to use, the service allows you to confirm that a candidate’s result is valid.

You can only verify candidates’ Linguaskill results if the candidate shares their results with your RVS account.

For candidates

Candidates can directly share their results with an organisation by logging in to the 91¸£Àû 91¸£Àû test portal, known as ‘Metrica’, and choosing to share their results with their chosen organisation’s RVS account.

Can candidates retake a module?

Linguaskill’s ‘My best score’ is designed to help candidates improve their test score in one module, without having to retake the full exam. They can retake that part of the test again without having to take the other three skills. This flexible approach allows candidates to focus on improving specific skills.

To ensure the new module result is linked to the original test results:

• The retake must be taken using the same candidate login.
• The original test and the retake must be taken with the same test centre.

How long is a Linguaskill certificate valid for?

There is no expiry date for a Linguaskill certificate. Organisations that accept Linguaskill as part of their admissions processes, recruitment policies or for other purposes can choose how recently the test must have been taken.
